The player with the highest percentage of the team's total goals scored will win the Golden Boot. For example, Team 1 scored 5 goals in the Tournament and Player A scored 4 of the 5 goals that is 80% of the team's total goals. Team 2 scored 10 goals and Player B scored 4 goals of the 10 goals that is 40% of the team's total goals. Player A would win the award with 80% of the team's total goals.

Format? 7 A-side League
How Many Teams? 12 Teams Split Into Two Divisions of 6 Teams 
Time? 50-Minute Matches
Pitch 1 - Division 1: 09:05, 09:50, 10:40
Pitch 2 - Division 2: 09:30, 10:20 & 11:10 
Location? The Betero
Price? 480 Euros For The Season

How Our VTF 7 A-Side League Will Run: 

  • Our VTF League will last 11 weeks. Division 1 & Division 2 teams will play each other twice (10) games and last week will be the VTF Sunday Morning Cup 
  • The Winners of Division 2 are promoted to Division 1 and the team that finishes last in Division 1 will be relegated 
  • VTF Cup Week 11 - Divison 1 & Division 2 teams will compete in the same VTF Cup 
  • Games will be 50 minutes (2 Minute half-time)
  • The max match squad size is 12, and you're allowed unlimited rolling subs
  • We provide the match official and all the equipment. There's nothing for you to worry about, except turning up
  • Every Match on Pitch 1 will be recorded and then uploaded to VTF's YouTube channel 
  • The table will be updated after every match day on the VTF Website 
  • There will be trophies for the League Champions, Top Goalscorer, Players Player and VTF's Player of the Tournament
  • Every once in a while a crisis will strike and you'll be short a player or two. If so, please message VTF ASAP as we may be able to find you a late replacement 
  • For match queries, we will always have a coordinator on hand at the venue
  • We aim to create an informal atmosphere of competitive fun

Fees: 

  • Every team will have to pay 480 euros before the start of the season. This ensures no teams drop out halfway through the season and disrupt the league set-up. If they do, we can organise friendlies to ensure no team has no match.
