The Turia, better known as VTF's 'home of football', is where our journey began. The pitch sits at the heart of the Turia Park and is perfectly situated for a game of football in Valencia. Think bright lights, an electric atmosphere, and locals cheering from the sidelines! 

Fun fact: The Turia Park was once a river, so when you're playing football at our pitch you're actually playing on top of an ancient river bed!

How to get to the Turia pitch - Estadi d'Atletisme del Turia (Google Maps & Directions Below) 

Walking: 20-minutes walk from the city centre

Metro: The closest metro station is the Turia metro station. From here, it's a 5-minute walk through the beautiful Turia Park. 

Bus: Look for buses towards the main Valencia bus station/ Decathlon Campanar. From here, it's a 2 minute walk to the pitch.

Once you are in the Turia Park, look for the Estadi d'Atletisme del Turia entrance. If you need any help with directions please contact us.

Match rules

Time:
⏱1 hour game
⌚️Be on time 10-15mins before kick-off

Match Rules: 
✅ Ok to score in the area, normal 11 a-side rules
❓ Rotate keepers every 7-8 mins
✅ Footwear; Moulded boots or Astro turf trainers, no metal studs are permitted
❌ No shouting, no aggressive behaviour
✅ Everyone must play fair, respect their teammates and opponents
❌ No Slide Tackles
✅ You can slide to block a shot as long as it does not endanger an opponent 
✅ There are offsides in the box
❌ No goal-hanging. This will be given as offside to maintain a well balanced match
✅ Please bring both a black and a white top with you to help split the teams.

  • There are changing rooms & showers

Refund:
You will be expected to pay in full if you drop out within 48 hours of the game or you don’t show up. 
If you can't make the game and cancel within the timeframe the 6 euros will be added to your VTF account 
If you want a refund in full (minus the card transaction) which is 10% of the fee paid. If you paid 6 euros you would receive a refund of 5.50 euros
